My First Day

This marks the first day of my musings on this blog. I'm still a little deflated by Romney's "suspension" yesterday, but this is what we always get from the Rebublican establishment - a second choice candidate. Maybe that's the best you can expect from a "groupthink" situation. But it was absolutely wonderful to have Mitt in the limelight for a while and to have someone of his character, intellect, and talent in the race. I have high hopes that he will become the "go to" guy for the conservative wing of the party. Will he be the V.P. nominee? I seriously doubt it, but it would be good for the country.
